Day 6: Wear and tear.
Saeko preps in the morning, getting her heels ready for another day...

Mimi began to take some very serious hard-pack steep runs, and literally destroyed both ski boots on her first run of the day.
The visible damage was caused by the hinge bolt literally ripping out of the lower part of the boot.
She was edging so hard the boot could no longer withstand the force. So while she had a snack with mom,
I skied back to the room to retreive a spare pair of boots we had brought along that happened to be the same size. Problem solved!
Meanwhile, back at the Resort, Yuko was taking a well-earned ski break, and taking care of Shota. (Yuko image)
The weather was still good, and fortunately washrooms were always quickly available...
The weather was definately warmer than yesterday, which certainly helped the mood!
