My favourite pavillion, the Host First Nations, is open now, and very worth the visit.

The building reaches out to welcome you, opening up into the available space, and there are welcoming smiles everywhere.

The First Nations people have a very successful and attractive building, and they are happily proud of it, and eager to share. There are many First Nations tourists around the downtown displays. Everyone seems to be happily mixing just now. There's a very positive energy downtown.

There was live music and drumming in the dome theatre, and it shook the building. Drums should be felt this way. Beautifully setup inside the shop, all the items very authentic.

I owe these women an apology. They were happily chatting as I asked if I could take their photo in front of the pavillion. They politely posed, and afterwards asked where they would be able to see the image. Well, it turns out Carleen Thomas, and Mrs. Lianna Martin are both Councillors in the Burrard Indian Band. They both gave me their business cards, and asked if I'd email them a copy of the image. Very polite. Very generous. Very approachable.
