Then another walk into downtown to take its pulse... I'd already added the bobsled, the cherry trees, the crowds, and the buildings into previous clock pictures so for something different this time: a half-moon!



Just a typical Canadian family out for a walk!



This was fun. The paper lantern post bases are hidden under hexagonal bases of plywood sheets, which warped because of the rains last week. So as you walk over them, they rock back and forth and clap against the frames they rest on. So the kids discovered the racket they could make by running along a row of them! To be fair, there were adults enjoying it too...



This looked like face painting by a dentist!



This girl's dad was about to wipe off the extra bit of red above her left eye. Good luck!
