More boaty stuff
The wind had died down for a while, so I wandered out into the bay.
It was time for a face-to-face showdown with these boaty mcboatfaces...
The races were just finishing. Most of the boat's crews were predominantly women.
Back on land: Purple poppies! I don't remember seeing them before...
The gooses and gooselets were out for a stroll...
...except they had chosen a poor location!
OK, we're back at the shipwreck, where the day before, this sign appeared. Apparently another determined re-floating attempt...
So. How'd it go? Well, about the same as everything else that the owners have done so far. Just how far did they think they could lift a 10,000 lb hull with that short 4x4 lever?
At least the flowers are worth looking at...
