Slowly... Spring.
Trick question, because there is only one thing for me to do on the Granville Island dock! The sailboat is still here. Note the big white ship in the distance...
(edit, 2 days later, the mast is gone. The orange float is still there, but the rope is now a long white one. Either the mast has been broken off, or the boat's been tipped over)
Here's a closer view of the big ship. It looks like a car carrier, which are usually only seen on the main arm of the Fraser River, in Richmond. This is the 2nd one in the past few weeks.
You can't hide a gas/diesel spill...
A slightly distorted (by my wide angle lens) halo around the sun. It's caused by ice crystals in the upper atmosphere.
Another magnolia, this one looks very busy!
Remember this road? It's now a bike road, with car access being limited to the local residents.
Some of whom, correctly, built their fences at the property line...
Fortunately, the widening and return to the proper property lines, is going to spare this Monkey Puzzle tree.
This hedge was not so lucky. The trees even grew to be around the wires!
This owner had to pull back on his unauthorised land use, and also remove any electrical wires, etc. The property marker is clearly visible, as is the removal of distant trees.
The re-build of the small playground nearby has been completed, and is being enjoyed!
