A New Year!
Being so close to the barge meant that you had to look way up to see the upper explosions.
Even my poor super-wide-angle lens began to run out of reach!
The conditions changed fast, and I was getting cold, which makes for "shakey" and burnt images. I had taken over 200 pictures by this point, and most were no good...
So I was happy that some turned out ok!
The show was almost over, it was just rapid fire bright explosions! Camera at 1/40 sec now...
The crowd cheered as the last of the explosions rocked the walkway...
I had dressed warm enough under my jacket, but just bluejeans wasn't enough for my legs. I should have worn my skiing base layer...
Robson street isn't usually this busy after midnight on a holiday Monday! I was walking fast to get warmed up...
Hmm, I think this car needs to move soon. How many can you collect before they tow?
