Luau time!

Hey! A visible Hawaiian sunset!!!

The warm-up act...

And dinner is served. Buffet style, and the food was very good! The others at the table were friendly and we enjoyed a good chat.

Dinner was done, and the show began! An amazing display of flexibility and movement control, even that little girl was impressed!

An explanation: My camera is hand-held, and needed 1/4 sec in this light to get a proper exposure. As this image shows, a professional hula dancer can get a lot done in that time!
As a result, not many of the following pictures will be as sharp and clear as you might expect... I had to time picture taking with any slight pause in the dancer's routine.

The evening began with several solo dancers.

The costumes and make-up were very good.

The dancers were all enthusiastic.

The grass skirts had trouble keeping up with the movements!

Ok, yes it's blurred. She had a lot of flower petals in the perimeter of her skirt, and as she danced, they went flying! The audience really cheered this act!

Some of the dancers did not look native Hawaiian.
