When we travelled this area with the RV, the rain clouds had blocked the view. At least now we could see what we missed!
We turned east into an older valley, which was wide and had very eroded hillsides.
And then we ended up with a great view of yet another of Iceland's large glaciers, Langjokull.
I wanted a closer look, so we drove... Acually, no, we didn't move, I just zoomed in!
Very dramatic, but definitely smaller than Vatnajokull!
