Winter !!
A timely dump of snow, and it stayed cold enough for the powder snow to stay for a while!
While the hardworking citizens were bravely making their way back to work in the morning, I took the scenic detour!
Usually, snow in Vancouver is immediately followed by rain. Nice to see the snow staying on the trees!
Hmm... No beach volleyballers to fight over the courts today!
The ice wasn't thick enough for the hockey game, yet!
The party boats were out, and decorated with plenty of icicles!
Lots of snow removal required here!
When it's cold enough, and it snows heavy enough, the snow will form a soft crunchy ice on the top of the salt water.
Some crazies just have to get out and exercise!
And even go fo a paddle ! (look for the black tail on the kayak below the green one)
"Hey, you said it wouldn't snow! You said we should stay ! You said it would be better the flying south for the winter!"
