The year begins...
The previous year's gingerbread house is prepared for eating...
And the traditional New Year's feast is set. (Well, it's traditional if you're Japanese!)
And what better way to start the year than with a ski vacation!
The snow was in great condition, but visibility was a problem!
The weather cleared, at about the same time we finished for the day.
The area around the village probably needed more snow...
However, there was enough to go cross-country skiing around Lost Lake.
Good excercise!!! (We're not getting older, we're getting more appreciative of the views!)
