The western Japanese coastline is heavily polluted with floating garbage. This has Korean writing on it.
We did find a group of para-sailors making use of the on-shore winds! Unfortunately for them, it wasn't windy enough...
"No writing in the sand! Fine = ~$50" We weren't sure why this sign was here...
...and then we looked back! The landward side of the dune would make a huge signboard!
...soaking in the sun...
We visited this nice little coffee shop across the street, apparently designed by a famous archtect, who is also responsible for one of Vancuver's new buildings.
