Kenrokuen Gardens
The Kenrokuen Gardens, in the center of Kanazawa City.
Along the way there, we found a few picturesque trees, too!
...and bushes...
...and azaleas!
The Garden grounds have a small lake in the center, and are attached to an even larger park that holds the remains of the local castle.
Even though we encounted a light rain, it was quite pretty, and the rain probably helped keep the crowds down!
The grounds keepers were carefully removing the weeds from among the moss.
The wisteria were featured here, on a nice trellis system.
