The Takaragawa Onsen
Apparently this little fellow was favored by women who wanted to become pregnant.......
The pools were placed close to the river, and the views were amazing.
It was difficult to take a bad picture anywhere!
The pools were naturally supplied and the stones would develop a slippery black coating, so they were pressure washed once a month, one per day.
The pools were open at night.
We stayed two nights, and managed over 5 hours in the pools on one day!
Due to its islated location, there actually wasn't all that much else to do out here!
The facility was well protected.
By a variety of mythical personalities.

Our stay included dinner (twice),
Breakfast (twice). For dinner and breakfast, we were escorted to the same private dining table for all four meals.
We also tried a box lunch, which was served in our room.
