Last two days in Reykjavik...
The largest swimming pool in the city, and our last chance for a hot tub! The location was quite sheltered, so we even sat in the sun (5 C air) for a while.
A map of the pools. It was a nice sunny day, and University was out, so there were a lot of young adults in attendance.
The women were wearing a range of swim suits, from one-piece down to "don't bend over, and don't sneeze".
Some street names were a challenge to pronounce.
...I got the "nema" part ok...
We celebrated our trip with one last nice dinner !
In a small, family run restaurant. You could hear Mom in the kitchen giving orders to her junior family members !
And a latte to finish up.. The food was excellent !
And all too soon it was time to go to the airport. Due to a staffing shortage, we were encouraged to arrive earlier than normal.
