Oma Krom's Farewell Tour.

And now we're back on BC Ferries! I'm sure this is a different day, and that we're the Nanaimo run, rather than a continuation from the Victoria trip.
Doreen's outfit is completely different, it must be a different day. I assume this picture was taken because we were being quite civilized for a change! ...maybe we were sedated...

Mom with Oma! At the Ferry terminal...

Mom and Oma saying their farewells...

Oma declining Mom's generous offer of a large allowance, and her own room, if she would stay here as a full-time helper...

Looks like Mom, on the hiking trail!

Ok, it looks like the Mt Arrowsmith hiking trail! Is that Don, in Mom's old sweater? ...they reached the end of the world! Now, to throw that Coke bottle away...

This looks like a soccer team. You can tell by the high tech soccer shoes that the coach is wearing! That looks like John in the all yellow shirt. Goalie?

And here are Ken and John, at Sproat Lake, with a net that they had found! Marion's hiding on the left... It's winter now, there's snow in the background.

This must be the next summer, and it's the van Deursens! L-R: Mrs, Irene, Mr, John (on tricycle), Tommy, Paul, and Marian.

And they brought a movie projector!

And here we all are at the beach in Parkesville! I think in the background that's L-R: Doreen, Jim, Don, Marian, and Paul. Walking to them are Tommy, Ken, and Irene.
