Another floral display... I think this was the "Small-sized room displays" competition. Near Limmen, the flowers are all lilies.
And these must have been the "Mid-sized room displays" competition.
"Hmmm.... That gives me an idea! I should widen the living room with a bay window, and then I can do this, too!"
It looks like Mom and Marion were sharing driving duties. ...that didn't last long! Apparently Mom's first experience with these cars...
It's farewell time soon. Tante Tini, her husband Theo, with their oldest daughter Dolinda. And Oma.
It's farewell time soon. Tante Lia, her husband Gerhard, with their son Patrick, and Tante Tini's younger daughter Marion. And Mom.
And they're back in Port Alberni! What? No mountain pictures from the airplane's window? Ken: "Hi Don. Yes, they just got back. What's that? No, they didn't bring anything for you..."
Lots to unpack! Ken: "Wow, Dad, Mom, it's what I've always wanted, Thank You! psst, Marion, what is it?" Marion: "I think it's for sorting rocks to make gravel..."
Looks like they hit the record stores, "The biggest in Europe!" no less! Lots of film boxes in that suitcase... Marion: "...they didn't bring the flower bulbs that I packed..."
Looks like Mom and Dad won the prize towel! Not bad: drying yourself with a 100 guilder note! ...just don't try lighting a cigar with it...
The after-math. Dad looks tired. Mom: "Piet, I don't see the shoes I had in that bag in the closet. Didn't you pack them?... And I think I left my wallet on the bed at my Mom's place..."
