Dad was interested in taking pictures of dynamic clouds and spectacular weather.
This is Florencia, but it's not "that" tree stump. This is too small, and does not have enough roots.
Dad, about to go for a long walk! Looks like Chesterman Beach, close to where the boogy boards were being used this year.
Stormy looking weather...
Another mystery location, and this one looks interesting. I would like to know where this is...

According to Mom:
I’m afraid I can’t help you very much as far as locations in the Long Beach area are concerned. We did so many trails and even used no trails at all and hiked along the beach.
I remember one hike specifically, it was from the pebble beach at Wickaninnish to Florencia Bay, not on the trail but along the beach. It was quite hairy at times, the tide came in and we had
to climb higher and higher into the forest to continue, jumping one time from a big rock to another. Every time we rounded a corner Dad would say: M.O.S. (meaning: more of same)!
Was I glad when we finally arrived on the beach of Florencia Bay. Of course then we had to hike back on the proper trail to Wickaninnish where our car was. I never forget that trip.
