From Beppu to Nagasaki



We walked back from the "hot sands" along the seaside parks,




back to the Ryokan (hotel), where the staff had put away the futons, and re-set the table!




The next morning we left for Nagasaki, not that far by distance, but a 5 hr journey by train. The trains here run a lot slower! No bullet trains around this island! We arrived just in time for:




Lunch! This is the restaurant where this dish was "invented". And of course, a Chinese restaurant in Japan is staffed by: ...Japanese!
