Whistler! Blackcomb!

This small observation deck made for a tight fit when you're wearing skiis!

It wasn't snowing, it was the wind blowing snow off the trees!

This path through the golf course has soooo much untracked snow on this side!

"...I love my new skiis!" According to the gps, we travelled at an average of 3.4 kph that day. The next day it was 4.3 kph, and on the 3rd day, it was 5.2 kph! ...getting better!

This small creek has so far managed to remain un-frozen! It must be fast-moving water! ...and look at all that fresh snow!

"Hey! My new skiis work in the deep stuff, too!"

In some areas, the wind had made desert sand patterns.

And here, someone couldn't resist leaving a note in the snow!

The sun was setting, and we still had a few km to go. And this picture also shows a new problem this year for me... Where's Yuko?

Ok, here she is! Normally I could stop, take pictures, then easily catch up again. Or take the pics while waiting...

Not anymore. Her cruising speed is faster than mine now. I have to really work to catch up now!

This is a screen print showing our elevation changes, and speed. At 1:04:25, I reached 20 kph, then stopped... I had wiped out on a steep, tight corner! ...Yuko didn't...
