I couldn't really get this type of picture before. Looking through the action and including only a small amount of the background.
It looks like the wind hasn't died down from this morning yet. This kayaker is bouncing his way back in.
This is another picture that I couldn't get before. It would be too far away without a telephoto lens. So there will be a lot of these as I try to figure out what works...
And this is the other side of the problem with this new camera. Since it takes 4K video, I did. But that means I wasn't taking pictures. I video'd this guy hopping around earlier.
This shows the other bit of fun you can have in a kayak: boat wakes! I get more water in my lap from wakes than from waves...
Looks like the rowers are back on shore, and cleaning up.
Still one of my favourite little boats. A Nordic Tug. That naked guy in the yellow bag on the left is the Coast Guard's overboard practice dummy...
A very popular, trendy sport: SUP, stand up paddleboard. Unlike rowing (mostly guys), and kayaking (even gender mix), paddleboarding is mostly women.
I liked the way they did this ad on the side of the sailboat. They use the boat deck side window as the implied roof of the car pictured below.
Granville Island. I can see the floor, so it's not busy. Yet.
These two walked by primping and preening like they were about to star in a movie. It was for a cell phone picture...
