...then came the dragon!
...the back legs have a lot of work to do to keep in sync with the front legs!
The boy in the black shirt reached out to the dragon...
...and then backed up really fast!
Uh oh! The dragon spots a camera!
...and opens its mouth to roar!
Then shakes its beard at me!
And takes a look around...
And chose the boy standing beside me! The same boy who got the Post Office prize envelope. He must be lucky...
Being a dragon is hard work, and so there were a lot of spare legs along! They took turns being front and back legs...
Then it was all over! ...can you spot Yuko?
The parade wound around the island, and ended here at the east point.
Where they were being video'd or photographed by this drone. (My lens makes this look close. It wasn't)
The blurred blades are making about 1/19 of a 360 degree circle. Picture is 1/1250 seconds, so ~19 x 1/1250 x 60 = ~4,000 rpm
And here was the drone operator. I saw them doing their setup earlier.
