Yanago region
We arrived in the afternoon, and appreciated having a bit more room.
The hotel was on the beach, with a nice evening view from our window.
Next morning, though, it was back to serious touristing!
The Izumo Grand shrine.
The approach walkway was very long...
And had very tall trees on both sides of the walkway.
We finally reached the main temple area, with its many buildings.
The temple is dedicated to this god, who is associated with rabbits.
And they are everywhere!
And even cute!
