Last two days in Reykjavik...

...and how could any knitting fan could resist this place! The Handknitters of Iceland !

Long story... I bought this sweater for Yuko 7 years ago from this shop. I had measured one of her sweaters ahead of time, to make sure of the size.

However, it turned out that the neck was too tight. So when we planned this trip, we thought that maybe it could be adjusted. (While there, Yuko added the new hat)

Well, they were delighted to see us, and there was no problem altering it. Yuko then asked if it could also be made into a cardigan. No problem!

Along the waterfront: an artistic representation of a Viking longboat.

...very popular with the tourists !

Our land-mark.

This was in the front yard of one of the houses near where we were staying. Looks fun !

This was also in front of someone's home, and it also looked fun !

There were bakeries everywhere !

The street lights in the tourist section !

Construction at the end of the tourist section. It's being extended. I assume these are insulated water pipes.
